Yesterday a friend of mine came over and we talked about many things. One of which was Ideas and money after he asked about my vision board. I told him the vision board is to allow me to see my goals everyday and when I do I am supposed to visualize what it is like to already have those things. He says he has visions all the time, he is only the idea person, the visionary and not the go-getter so to speak. In my head I say "that is not what the vision board is for, you missed the point" and left it at that.
Then out of the blue he says, “it rains money all the time but never on me!”. My reaction was "that is because you’re always under your umbrella". Metaphorically that means he is always hiding in his comfort zone, unwilling to step into the rain to take some chances.
If you don’t take chances (calculated chances) then you will not get anything.
Anthony Robbins says, “If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten.” Now doesn’t that make a lot of sense? Think about it, if you stay in your comfort zone and keep on doing everything the same way all the time then how are you going to get more out of life?
So yes I think I really did learn from watching "The Secret". Thank you.

I agree. He totally missed the point. Perhaps explain it to him another time? What was your favorite part(s) about the DVD/book?Mine was when Joseph discovered he bought the exact house he had up on his vision board! I got goosebumps and a lump in my throat. The other was when the little boy saw the bike he so desperately longed for. The music really set the mood...AMAZING!!!!!!
